INTRODUCTION
This is my portfolio page of my internship at Carlo Schembri Design team. My name is Karlijn van den Akker and I’m 18 years old. I live in the Netherlands, a village called Heesch. I am a student at SintLucas Boxtel. I study Product, Media, and Interior Design. My internship is taking place from the 23rd of August 2018 till the 18th of January 2019.
For my first internship, I chose that I wanted to do my internship abroad. My friends from school, Fleur and Lana, also wanted to do their internship abroad so we started to look for the right place for us. We found out Malta would be a great place for us to live and learn. When I saw the website and social media of Carlo Schembri Design Team I felt really excited because they felt like the right place for me.

In the months we have been here we made a lot of pictures and I wanted the people from home to be able to follow them. So I made a photo diary on the Journi app.
